Turn your world upside down and stand on your own two feet

Yoga is a physical discipline that invites us to explore how our mind and body are in constant communication. When our body feels inflexible, weak, and shaky our mind can also be rigid, fearful and anxious. When our body feels pliable, strong, and steady, so too does our mind feel flexible, confident, and clear. Yoga helps us to tune in to what our body is telling us about our mind and can, through a mental/emotional/physical conditioning process, enhance our body’s abilities while helping us to shift and transcend un-useful mental patterns.

The intensity of practicing yoga postures helps us to see the difference between what is changing and what is constant. Aligning ourselves to what is permanent and true helps us become stronger, more flexible, more generous, and less fearful. We understand that all of us are on the same journey striving toward a healthy and fulfilling life.

Whether or not we ever manage to stand on our head doesn’t matter. We can all learn to turn our world upside down, to reexamine ourselves, and proudly stand on our own two feet.
